Soak up the atmosphere of the traditional Easter fair at the Old Town Square in Prague

Now that winter has handed over the reins of power to spring, it is time for us to start looking forward to Easter. The Old Town Square in Prague will host the traditional Easter fair in mid-April, a great opportunity for both locals and tourists to explore everything that numerous stallholders have to offer (arts, crafts, gifts, food etc.)

Easter colours in the city

From April 1 (10am) through April 23 (10pm), the world-famous Old Town Square in Prague will be dressed in shiny yellow. Among other things, visitors will have a chance to discover some of the traditional Easter customs and to listen to folk music while checking out almost a hundred stalls offering unique products such as decorated Easter eggs or wooden toys, many of which are hand-made.

In addition, one will have a chance to taste some of the delicious Czech dishes and see how craftsmen used to work. This will also be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to taste one or more of the many kinds of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic punch.

Enhancing the Easter spirit in the square will, just like last year, be a birch tree decorated with a number of colourful eggs, wreaths and ribbons.

The Břetislavka team wish you beautiful sunny spring days.
